    Hi Wise Wizard

I know all of the words too. There is something to be said about the music back then. Do you remember that The Who and Steppendwolf were the heavy metal music of the day. A lot different than now for sure.

PonGoad. I'm not so sure of that. I just put together something yesterday that I think will blow music away. All parties agreed in principle and all parties on board. I'm going to try to come with a whole new sound straight out of Cali...I can't wait and everyone just as excited as I am...Everyone's creativity level just hit high. I am hoping sooner than they think...Everyone said, "Wiz, never going to happen." Then yesterday in a meeting...we see it..we feel it and we can hear it..I can't ask for anything more than that! Then "Let's go all the way with it". Now I just need to keep a lot of egos in check and communication open. I am not going to discuss it further until it's done. Just wish me luck.

But music just rocked then...I'm glad I was there to hear it all...LOL ..don't forget the Doors...Cream, and we can share for hours....if not days.

Smoked my first joint when the Doors. "Light My Fire" was on their first album. Was a super fan of Claptons' since he played with John Mayalls' Bluesbreakers.

So true. One of my favorite CDs' I never leave home without is a 1982 concert by Clapton and Beck, at Madison Square Garden.

deepwater don, Beck lives on upcountry Maui...I spent many years there and he's a great guy! If you want to see one of my favorite all time live concerts check out Pearl Jam, Pink Pop Festive '92. What a show they put on that day. Keep in mind Eddie was just out of high school a few years at that point.

PonGoad and deepwater don, I will and I'm hoping sooner then later. My fault though as I just gave them both a song and they are working on that one and went Wiz let us finish this one first. I wrote it for a very special friend. This song really was when the light came on for me. So I just have to have some patience here. I'm like come on guys can't you do ten things at once like me...lol they have other things going on as well...

PonGoad, If your kids sound is public give me directions to it. Is it on Facebook or Soundcloud?

Well, they are all over the place. See my articles in my column on mixing and remixing and check out the links in the 2nd article. They were the first ones in the mix-remix community to incorporate all types of music within a tract of which is not known. They call each area they spend time in a project. Right now they are working in 'dubstep' which is not their original sound. What they create, though, in this area takes an enormous amount of skill which you will see if you are familiar with the mix-remix area.

Unfortunately, I am going to be offline shortly and I may not find the links when and if I can get back online after my open-season. If the new Newsvine kicks in during the time I am away, I won't be around to do whatever is necessary to bring myself to the new Newsvine. I probably will have to start over as a newbie which I am not sure right now that is something I am inclined to do. So, email me the links to your music. I am very interested in hearing it.

Since you seem to be familiar with the websites that you can post your music to, I want to share this link with you. You want to see the results of successful web networking...take a look at this. I don't know how they do this, but look at all of the comments that are on their tracts and the period of time it took for all of those comments to get there. Talk about knowing how to network! Not in my capabilities to do it, that is for sure.

P.S. This is where I first met you, my friend.

PonGoad, We use Soundcloud already. There are about 40 songs listed there under various names. If the songs are not ready or they are being worked on. You can put your song there and if a band member is 1000 miles away he can plug his parts in and keep going. Great site. I was able to transfer music from here and used a file sharing network to post on the vine without giving up everything on Soundcloud. soundcloud can be used as a private work area or you can allow the public to download if you want. I had a techie do it for me. They just go move over...click..click..click..done...LOL... Doing things with I.E. is difficult , Firefox better with video and music...

P.S. Looks like you found where we met. LOL

PonGoad, I saw all those comments and will study this further. I'm guessing they have it tied into Facebook or Twitter. We ran a test run of a fan club on Facebook trying different things for 24 hour intervals about 3 weeks ago. In the first 24 hours we were able to generate 1034 likes...so we tried 2 other test runs on things and came up short. The first was around the world. the next two were U.S and then just West coast. still experimenting....being able to understand and use social media is very key. I personally keep low profile but everyone else is plugged in.

I don't believe they do, but possibly. I do not think it is necessary to study it, I just thought it was cool as I never saw so many comments on tracts anywhere else. I believe it is their way of getting known in the musical arena that is so much controlled by the upper echelon.

You may keep a low profile, but you are definitely 'plugged' in all over the place. You are now another one of my favorite friends to watch. Pon

Tech was up late and are still sleeping...I will ask about how to "black out" your downloads. I like that myself. I saw you mention that on another seed yesterday or the day before and I have not had an opportunity to ask how to do that.

"but you are definitely 'plugged' in all over the place" Life keeps me "plugged" in...I'm trying to build an internet company, I also have another company I'm trying to build and then throw in my other personal projects and I can get busy.

PonGoad..and there's more...LOL..last night one person says Wiz you have more energy and personality in your little finger then we have in our whole bodies...And I'm thinking the only reason I was there was to chill...Honestly I love it...just how I have rolled all my life...Just days or times when you just want to shut it all off..and when I catch my breath I'm just back at it.
You West coast or East coast??? You are very talented in your graphic work...I was just invited to help get a start up in that industry organized, small company, that's why I'm asking...It's in the planning stages, well almost there...mainly it will be graphic artist...in SoCal area...

Thank you, Wize Wizard. You can call me Pon.

I am not into the really chaotic Adobe-look type of art, although I have created a few of those here and there. As a whole I like the less chaotic look of things. Chaos does have its place, though. Just like everything else...there is a time and place for everything.

Wiz you have more energy and personality in your little finger then we have in our whole bodies...

I have heard that a few times myself. As a matter of fact, many times I am asked if I ever sleep. I am east. You do have a lot of things going on in your life. Pretty impressive things too.

LOL..Pon..it is then. I'm laughing now because it all makes sense. That's where I wanted to be last night people with low energy and no personalities..*jking*..they had personality...I don't sleep much myself...IDK..We'll see. I have a website #1 out of about 300 mil. on all search engines except google, there I'm page four. I keep building and not worried about it. It's real and the data isn't played with. When I want front page google I think I can take it when I want it now. I tell everyone this is just a good place to start...I mean it though and they laugh...
